Eagle River, 2005. A great weekend for Team Wahl starts out on Thursday night as Wahl Brothers founders Durmont and Dave Wahl are inducted into the Snowmobile Hall of Fame. A packed house, including a large contingency from Greenbush, Minnesota where on hand to see Dave and Durmont honored.
The racing started on Friday night, as Dustin placed 7th in the Pro Stock 600 class. Terry won the F1 open class with Gary Moyle in hot pursuit. Saturday's World Championship had Terry winning his heats and semi finals with a comfortable margin. Terry Qualified with a time of 37.285, Dustin qualified with a time of 37.93.
Sunday's final is chronicled in the photos below. Terry lead the race for 22 of the 25 laps, when Gary Moyle got underneath him for the win. The big story was Dustin Wahl who started in the 11th position, battling through the crowds to place 4th!
