Two big wins in Plymouth for Brandon Johnson at Plymouth, Dustin wins Open 600 at Eagle River.
It was a big weekend for Wahl Racing's newest member, Brandon Johnson, winning two classes at Plymouth Wisconsin. In Eagle River, Dustin wins the Open 600 class, with Brandon in hot pursuit. We are proud of our driver Brandon Johnson who took 4th in the World Championship Pro Champ class. Unfortunately, Dustin was unable to finish the race after a mild concussion received during qualifying took him out of the race.
Everyone at Wahl Racing wishes to congratulate Brian Bewcyk for his excellent weekend at Eagle River, and historic win of the World's Championship - He did a GREAT job!

Ironwood Michigan - Dustin Wahl wins 600 Open, Brandon Johnson wins 440 Champ.
Big time snowmobile racing returned to the historic Ironwood Michigan track, which was often the first race of the year during the 1960's and 1970's. The race included a full slate of vintage and late model racing and a special 440 vintage race was run as the Jim Adema memorial. Mark Anderson of Neenah, Wisconsin won the trophy on his 1973 Polaris Starfire. In the late model classes, Dustin Wahl and Brandon Johnson traded first place wins, Dustin in 600 open, and Brandon in 440 Champ.

Team Wahl Debut for the 2007-2008 Season in Beausejour.
Dustin Wahl took two wins last weekend at the CPTC opener in Beausejour, Manitoba last weekend. Dustin won the 600 Open class, with Brandon Johnson in hot pursuit finishing 2nd. Dustin also won the 440 Champ class, with Brandon coming in 3rd. Terry had some mechanical problems over the weekend that kept him off the podium, and Jordan Wahl took a 4th in the 380 Sprint class.

Terry, Dustin and Brandon set to shave some ice in 2007-2008.
With the temperature dropping and ice starting to form on local lakes, the Wahl Brothers Race Team (and race teams all over the snowbelt!) are getting ready for the magic moment of the year - First Ice.
Terry Wahl, Dustin Wahl and Brandon Johnson will all be running the Champ and Pro Open classes this year.

DUSTIN WAHL NAMED 2007 SNOWWEEK RACER OF THE YEAR!
After crashing in Eagle River in 2006, Dustin Wahl had to sit out the rest of the season and watch someone else drive his sled. It was difficult, he admits, watching his sled do very well with Jimmy Schmidt taking over the pilot duties. But Dustin spent the off season preparing for 2007 - and it showed. Winning at the Season opener in Beausejour was just a warm up. By seasons end, Dustin owned the WSA Pro-ice title for Champ 440, Pro Formula 600, the Woody's Triple Crown, and the three race Millennium VForce Challenge.
One of Dustin's best races didn't see him make first - he came in second. But Dustin's come from last place to be just 1.64 seconds behind winner Gary Moyle will have fans talking for years.
Dustin joins the likes of Vinnie Clark, Craig Marchbank, Chris Anderson, P.J. Wanderscheid, Blair Morgan, Bobby Donahue and Jacques Villeneuve as past winners. Read the full article on Snowweek's website.
